چکیده

In recent times, DC microgrids (MGs) have received significant attention due to environmental concerns and the demand for clean energies. Energy storage systems (ESSs) photovoltaic (PV) are parts of MGs. This paper expands on modeling control non-isolated, non-inverting four-switch buck-boost (FSBB) synchronous converters, which interface with a wide range low-power electronic appliances. The proposed power converter can work efficiently both independently in charging discharging battery analyzed using FSBB at steady state continuous conduction mode (CCM). A boost is connected PV system, then parallel provide voltages bus. Finally, another resistive load that successfully performs boost-and-buck operation smooth transitions. Since these converters possess uncertainties non-linearities, it not suitable design linear controllers systems. Therefore, controlling mechanism converters’ based sliding (SMC). this study, various macro-level interests were achieved SMC. MATLAB Simulink results prove precise reference tracking robust stability different operating modes DC–DC MG structure.

Investigation of Novel Transformerless Converters for DC Microgrid: Design and Analysis

This paper proposes two new soft-switching transformerless converters with high voltage conversion ratio. These proposed converters achieve soft-switching each with a single auxiliary resonant cell. The merit of these converters is reduced switching losses with lesser number of devices. The main switching devices are turned off with zero current switching (ZCS). Apart from the soft-switching fe...

Microgrid Stability Controller Based on Adaptive Robust Total SMC

This paper presents a microgrid stability controller (MSC) in order to provide existing distributed generation units (DGs) the additional functionality of working in islanding mode without changing their control strategies in grid-connected mode and to enhance the stability of the microgrid. Microgrid operating characteristics and mathematical models of the MSC indicate that the system is inher...

Design and Evaluation of a Method for Partitioning and Offloading Web-based Applications in Mobile Systems with Bandwidth Constraints

Computation offloading is known to be among the effective solutions of running heavy applications on smart mobile devices. However, irregular changes of a mobile data rate have direct impacts on code partitioning when offloading is in progress. It is believed that once a rate-adaptive partitioning performed, the replication of such substantial processes due to bandwidth fluctuation can be avoid...

Developing Model-Based Design Evaluation for Algorithmic A/D Converters

In this paper we propose a novel Design Evaluation concept suitable for Nyquist-rate A/D converters employing the recently introduced technique of LEMMA (Linear Error Mechanism Modeling Algorithm). The core of our methodology is a root-cause identification of the error sources present in the ADC structure, evaluating the performance degradation by static non-linearity in a series of consecutive...
